When I first moved to New Jersey, I fell in love with everything about it. Since my move here nearly eight years ago, there are only a few things that I have come to not like. One of them is Canada geese. I had no idea these birds were as big as they are. The first time I saw one in a parking lot close to my car, I nearly screamed. I have gotten used to them now, but that didn’t stop me from finding a company that does Canada geese control in NJ once they started taking over the parking lot where I work.
I talked with my boss about the geese, and he agreed with me that it was not good with how many were taking over the parking lot. If it was just one or two, it might have been okay, but there were quite a few that were coming around. Our office building is right next to a pond, and the lake is not that far from us either. We even have people who throw peanuts and bread crusts to them, so one of the first things I did was have a sign put up to stop feeding them.
I knew that it was going to take more than just a sign though, so I went online and started looking at different companies that handle this kind of situation. That is how I found the company we used, and I cannot say enough good things about them. They came out and assessed the lot and building, along with the surroundings. They told us which way they would prefer to go, and the price was extremely reasonable so my boss had no problem agreeing to it. All the birds are gone now, and they have not come back once yet.
